As steward of our dining journey, you will oversee daily operations, inspire associates, and ensure every guest interaction reflects elegance, warmth, and precision. Proper Grit – The Ben’s Signature Restaurant Key Responsibilities
Direct the operational efforts of Proper Grit, ensuring seamless dining experiences from open to close. Supervise restaurant, lounge, banquet, and utility associates, providing guidance, support, and leadership. Train associates on service standards, food and beverage presentation, sequence of service, and sanitation practices. Assist with scheduling, performance evaluations, and daily direction of associates. Maintain open communication with associates and leadership to ensure a collaborative, engaged work environment. Provide associates with tools, resources, and coaching to excel in their roles. Address service issues with immediacy and professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Participate in weekly staff, BEO, and food & beverage meetings, and oversee monthly inventory processes. Ensure all food and beverages are presented with consistent quality, proper preparation, and timely delivery. Support the broader Food & Beverage team, offering flexibility and leadership across outlets as needed. Act as a brand ambassador for Proper Grit and The Ben, ensuring service reflects the sophistication and warmth of the Autograph Collection brand. Qualifications & Experience
Previous supervisory experience in a full-service restaurant or luxury hospitality environment required. Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, cost controls, and sequence of service. Micros POS knowledge preferred. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to lead by example. Ability to multitask and maintain poise in fast-paced environments. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical & Working Conditions
Ability to remain on feet for extended periods. Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Work performed in restaurant, banquet, and hotel settings, with direct guest interaction. Why Work at The Ben and Concord Hospitality?
