The
Center for Cellular Therapies and Cancer Immunology (CCTCI) at UT Southwestern Medical Center
is recruiting
tenure-track faculty
at all academic ranks (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor). We seek innovative scientists with expertise in
immune engineering
who are eager to develop transformative technologies and biologics to treat cancer. About the Center The CCTCI is a newly established, interdisciplinary center dedicated to

first-in-human Phase I trials . The Center leverages UT Southwestern’s world-class infrastructure in cellular manufacturing, genomics, and early-phase clinical development to bridge bench and bedside. Research Areas of Interest We welcome applicants using cutting-edge tools to investigate and manipulate the immune system for therapeutic gain. Specific areas of interest include, but are not limited to: Machine learning applied to immunological challenges , such as modeling immune responses, antigen specificity, or cellular differentiation Protein engineering
for immune modulation, including immune receptors, cytokines, and synthetic ligands Cellular engineering
approaches, such as synthetic circuits, reprogramming, and in vivo cell targeting Genome engineering , including CRISPR-based systems, targeted epigenetic editing, and chromatin architecture manipulation for immunotherapy Applicants working at the interface of computational, synthetic, and translational immunology are especially encouraged to apply. Qualifications
Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree in immunology, bioengineering, computational biology, or a related field A strong record of scientific innovation and productivity Demonstrated ability (or potential) to lead an
independent, extramurally funded
