Boise State University's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the Assistant or Associate rank. Preferred candidates will have demonstrated expertise in two or more of the following areas:
Controls
Electromagnetics
Signal processing
Power
Communications
Successful candidates will build an externally funded research program, foster a collaborative learning environment using evidence-based practices, communicate effectively with colleagues and students, and collaborate on interdisciplinary research initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:
Assistant Professor - PhD in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, by the time of appointment. Associate Professor - PhD in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, and the equivalent of at least five full years of service as Assistant Professor at an accredited institution of higher learning. Salary and Benefits:
The annual salary for this position starts at $110,000 for a 9-month assistant professor. Associate rank salaries are commensurate with the level of experience. Startup packages are tailored to experience and anticipated research needs. Reduced course loads are offered based on scholarly activity.
