Overview
Senior Manager of Finance & Accounting – Global Multi-Media Entertainment Sports Firm. Location: Tempe, AZ. We are seeking a Director of Finance to help lead a division and manage a small team. Responsibilities include managing the day-to-day blended background in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and accounting functions including month-end close, entries, revenue recognition, and reconciliations. Lead and manage preparation of budgeting, forecasting, and planning for monthly, yearly, and long-term reporting Lead month/quarter/year-end close and financial reports Develop financial models for revenue forecasting and analyze key performance indicators and metrics to track progress across financial operations Monitor revenue, margins, and cost tracking metrics in collaboration with stakeholders across the business Review customer invoicing processes and contractual agreements to reconcile revenue Review payroll, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules Perform key elements of the financial cycle and supporting subsidiary processes Assist in the annual audit and taxation Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred 8+ years of accounting experience (public or private), with media production experience a plus Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Revenue Recognition Experience with general ledger, financial analysis, journal entries, and detailed account analyses Details
