Position Details Department:

Associate Clinical Director (ACD) or Clinical Director
Supervises:
Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Behavior Technicians
Position Type:
Part-Time, Non-Exempt,
up to 20 hours each week
(possibility for full time when clinic opens)
Location:
Charlotte, North Carolina (in-home settings)
What You’ll Do
Conduct functional and skill-based behavioral assessments using gold-standard tools (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS).
Translate assessment findings into comprehensive ABA treatment plans grounded in research and best practices.
Supervise, train, and mentor RBTs and direct care staff on intervention implementation and professional growth.
Deliver direct behavioral services and support individual and group sessions as needed.
Monitor treatment fidelity and client progress using data analysis and clinical insights.
Lead caregiver and parent training to support generalization and consistency across environments.
Collaborate with senior analysts, Clinical Directors, and multidisciplinary teams.
Maintain timely documentation, utilizing behavioral health software (Central Reach proficiency preferred).
Respond effectively in crisis situations and uphold the highest ethical standards.
Embrace ongoing learning through team trainings, peer feedback, and leadership guidance.
Who You Are
Credentialed: You hold BCBA, BCaBA, or QBA certification from BACB or QABA. If not licensed in North Carolina, you’re ready to obtain licensure within 90 days of hire.
Educated: You have a Master’s degree (or national equivalent) in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
Experienced: You know your way around behavior intervention strategies, learning theories, and insurance billing practices.
Tech-Savvy: You’re familiar with platforms like Google and ABA software such as CentralReach.
Physically Capable: You can lift up to 50 lbs, and you’re comfortable working on the floor during therapy sessions.
Collaborative & Ethical: You value teamwork, integrity, and respect when working with diverse clients and staff.
Flexible & Prepared: Willing to complete required trainings, certifications, and pass background checks and drug testing.
Minimum Requirements
Certified BCBA/BCaBA/QBA in good standing
Eligible for or actively pursuing licensure as an LBA in North Carolina
Eligible for insurance credentialing (or already credentialed)
Able to lift 50 lbs and physically support clients in a therapy setting
Willing to complete the following training before starting:
New Staff Orientation
Part One of Safety Care Certification (annual renewal required)
First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
HIPAA and data management training
Preferred Experience
Dual licensure (LBA + BCBA or Licensed Psychologist)
Familiarity with Central Reach
Bilingual or multicultural experience is a plus
