The Recovery Coach (Entry-Level Mental Health Aide) is responsible for monitoring and communicating with clients, providing rehabilitation groups under supervision, supporting client ADLs if needed, and assisting in crisis intervention. This is a critical part of the team to ensure proper care for our clients which includes appropriate documentation per policies and procedures. Responsibilities
Monitor and communicate with clients. Provide rehabilitation groups under supervision. Support client ADLs if needed. Assist in crisis intervention. Document per policies and procedures. Qualifications
Minimum of a high school diploma/GED. Minimum of two years of clinical experience as applicable in a psychiatric setting. In the absence of two years of experience, training may be substituted (52 hours as part of an in-service plan). Schedule
Full-Time, Part-Time, or On-Call Compensation and Benefits

The Crestwood Center San Jose Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) on our San Jose campus is near mental health support services in Santa Clara County. The PHF provides a spacious environment with two living rooms, a welcoming room, visiting space, serenity room, dining room and a courtyard. The program focuses on restoring hope, self-empowerment and recovery, with services including medication management, WRAP, DBT support, psychosocial education and a thorough transition plan.
