As an entry-level Workplace Health & Safety Specialist (WHSS), you will receive extensive safety training and develop into an exceptional safety leader. You will help transform workplace safety culture, protect employees, and innovate safety practices by integrating technology and human-centered solutions. Core Impact Areas Safety Program Excellence & Implementation: Drive safety programs, conduct audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments. Deliver engaging safety training and promote a proactive safety culture. Associate Advocacy & Cultural Leadership: Act as a safety advocate, foster a safety-first culture, build relationships with associates and leadership, and turn safety data into actionable insights. Additional Job Elements Lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, and squatting. Stand and walk for 10-12 hours per shift. Work in environments with varying noise levels and temperatures. Climb stairs where applicable. Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Locations and Placement Start between January 2026 and September 2026. This is a full-time, on-site role within Amazon’s fulfillment network, not remote. Relocation benefits are available for eligible candidates. Sponsorship is not provided; candidates must have valid work authorization. Key Responsibilities Implement Amazon’s Global Safety Program. Identify compliance issues, conduct audits, and report safety risks. Lead incident investigations and maintain safety documentation. Perform risk assessments and record safety data. Assist in safety training and process improvements. Oversee fire prevention and hazardous waste activities. Recommend risk mitigation measures. Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree completed between May 2024 and August 2026.
