Neurologist (all subspecialties) - Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor
The Department of Neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville seeks full-time Neurologists (all subspecialties) at the non-tenure accruing level of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. The successful candidates will be BC/BE adult neurologists with or without specialty training (stroke, dementia, neurotrauma, neurohospitalist, epilepsy, neuromuscular, movement disorder, neuroimmunology, neurocritical care). Faculty positions are available for the Jacksonville campus. There are opportunities to modify patient-mix to subspecialty interests. The successful candidate is expected to participate in shared departmental clinical and teaching responsibilities. There are also opportunities to engage in scholarly research, participate in various leadership roles, and advance in academic rank. This position will report to the Chairman of the Department of Neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville. UF Health in Jacksonville is comprised of multiple entities including UF Health Jacksonville, UF Health North, UF Jacksonville Physicians, Inc., and UF Jacksonville campuses. UF Health physicians offer primary care and specialty services in practices throughout Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, with substantial outpatient visits and inpatient admissions annually. Expected Salary:
Academic appointment will commensurate with training and level of experience; benefits are excellent. Minimum Requirements: MD/DO (or foreign equivalent) degree Florida Medical License Preferred Qualifications: BC/BE in adult neurology with or without specialty training Special Instructions To Applicants:
