Overview Award-Winning Studio & Winner of Design Firm of the Year is actively seeking a Structural Project Manager to join their Anaheim, Rancho Cucamonga, Los Angeles, Folsom, or San Diego office. The Structural Division This division offers structural engineering planning and design services, including assessments and forensic investigations. Their engineers have extensive experience in education, commercial, healthcare, sports & entertainment, hospitality, retail, and federal/government projects. Essential Duties & Responsibilities The Project Manager will supervise design and construction projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards. Responsibilities include leading project teams, coordinating with disciplines and contractors, managing schedules and budgets, resolving technical challenges, preparing specifications, and mentoring staff. Education and Work Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a Structural emphasis; Master’s preferred. P.E. license required; S.E. license for Senior Project Manager. Minimum of 7 years of progressive structural engineering experience. Experience leading multi-discipline teams. For California roles, experience with the DSA and knowledge of the CBC and relevant codes. Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, RISA, RAM, ENERCALC, Excel, Bluebeam, etc. Experience designing with steel, concrete, masonry, and wood. Excellent communication skills. Additional Notes for California Applicants The firm’s projects include K-12, higher education, government buildings, sports facilities, fire stations, and renovations. Experience with educational projects and the DSA process is preferred, but candidates with strong general building design experience in California are also encouraged to apply.
