Field Application Scientist - US Central & Southeast

Be the primary point of contact for technical and scientific support needs for territory customers. Conduct remote and in-lab product training and evaluations for customers. Manage technical support cases from customers in your territory and associated escalations, ensuring customers receive timely and accurate resolutions. Contribute to building the technical knowledge base and processes to facilitate scaling of support as the user base expands. Apply expertise in biomarker discovery to guide the development, enhancement and positioning of our proteomics platform. Collaborate with internal R&D teams during the product development cycle, providing critical insights and product feedback. Contribute to the creation of customer training materials and documentation, working closely with internal resources. Deliver scientific presentations at conferences and webinars, showcasing the capabilities of Alamar's products. Cultivate and manage collaborations with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in coordination with sales, marketing and R&D teams. Gather valuable Voice of Customer insights to inform product improvements. Qualifications
Ph.D. in molecular biology or related area of study with experience in biomarker discovery. Pragmatic thinker with a clear and effective approach to problem-solving. Strong orientation towards process improvement and unwavering commitment to quality. In-depth understanding of preparing materials for scientific applications. Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse personalities both inside and outside the company. Demonstrated expertise in biostatistical analysis preferred. Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information with clarity. The base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 - $140,000. Salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
