Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor, Oral Medicine
The University of Florida College of Dentistry (UFCD) is recruiting for a non-tenure, Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor in the Division of Oral Medicine, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Diagnostic Sciences (OMDS). UFCD is a leading dental school devoted to teaching, research, patient care and service.
Responsibilities
Didactic and clinical teaching of predoctoral and advanced education students
Participation in clinical practice and a research program
Engage in scholarly activities and provide service to the institution
Minimum Requirements
DDS, DMD or equivalent degree
Training (Oral Medicine Residency/Certificate) from a CODA-accredited Oral Medicine program or Training (Oral Pathology Residency/Certificate) from a CODA-accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology program
Board Eligible or Board Certification from American Board of Oral Medicine or Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology
Previous teaching experience in Oral Medicine
Previous clinical experience in Oral Medicine
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience teaching DMD and advanced education students
Clinical practice experience with oral medicine patients with chronic oral diseases, oral oncology, and supportive care in cancer
Proficiency in clinical biopsies and/or experience managing patients with facial pain
Involvement in research and scholarly activities

Salary
Salary and rank are commensurate with credentials and experience.
