About the Role We’re looking for a hands-on, results-driven Senior Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations with accuracy, insight, and strategic impact. As a key partner to leadership, you’ll shape internal controls, lead audits, drive compliance, and mentor a talented team—all while working side by side with the VP of Finance to guide the company’s financial strategy.
What You’ll Do
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close with precision and timeliness.
Manage the general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
Maintain and strengthen internal controls for a scaling private company.
Ensure U.S. GAAP and tax compliance (sales/use, property, and business filings).
Coordinate external audits to deliver clean, timely results.
Serve as a power user/administrator across key platforms (e.g., Nextworld ERP, Concur) to ensure data integrity, efficient workflows, and effective user access controls.
Mentor and support accounting staff, fostering growth and accountability.
Who You Are Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred).
6–8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong command of U.S. GAAP, with experience in revenue recognition (ASC 606) and project/job cost accounting a plus.
Proficiency in ERP systems, expense reporting tools, and advanced Excel (Nextworld ERP experience a plus).
Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
High integrity, accountability, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
Preferred Skills
Acquisition integration
Knowledge of sales/use tax, property, and other business filings
Experience with international businesses
