Senior Specialist, Procurement Management Overview

The Senior Specialist, Procurement Management is responsible for executing source-to-contract procurement processes in alignment with business goals and industry best practices, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and contributing to supplier diversity and sustainability. This role participates in supplier management activities, drives continuous improvement projects, and supports day-to-day supplier excellence.

Responsibilities

Assist with source-to-contract procurement processes in line with business goals and industry best practices, ensuring alignment with defined category strategic vision.

Maintain compliance with procurement policy and activities related to supplier diversity and sustainability, executing tactical processes to create value.

Execute supplier management activities in alignment with category SRM strategy, including negotiations and workshops to foster collaborative supplier relationships.

Adhere to risk mitigation plans developed with Category Managers, provide input on supplier performance, and communicate procurement risks to safeguard the organization’s interests.

Maintain excellence in contract execution including source-to-contract and requisition-to-pay, identifying and addressing inefficiencies in process design and execution.

Execute continuous improvement projects initiated by the PSC team, promoting adaptability and innovation in procurement operations.

Oversee Specialist execution of procurement activities, provide feedback, and develop category expertise according to individual learning plans.

Enable team goals and ensure performance targets and objectives are delivered successfully.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related business/operations function.

Experience in procurement activities including source-to-contract, requisition-to-pay, and negotiation.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Power Platform).

Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

Innovative problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset and strong communication at all organizational levels.

Effective executive functioning abilities and autonomous work ethic, with ability to build consensus in decision-making.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation for this role at the time of posting and may vary by geographic location, performance, and other factors.
