Middle Office Analyst, Capital Markets

Genesis10 is seeking a Middle Office Analyst, Capital Markets, for a six-month contract position. This position will work in Charlotte, NC. It supports a hybrid schedule with approximately 40% remote work and the rest onsite at the client office in Charlotte, NC (uptown area).
Compensation:
$31.25 - $34.37 per hour, W2, depending on skills and experience.
Daily Responsibilities:
Compare trade position files from external counterparties.
Perform trade decompositions to validate current mark-to-market exposures.
Review and present collateral margin calls and respond to demands submitted by counterparties.
Work with internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
Produce and distribute ad-hoc reports to clients.
Seek opportunities to improve processes, controls, and procedures.
Partner with the project team to develop system enhancement requirements and assist with user acceptance testing.
Desired Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience in capital markets or a similar field.
Experience with derivatives trading (can be from a customer role at an investment firm) and holding a Series 7 license.
Strong customer service, Excel, and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Extensive knowledge of loans, securities, and derivatives products.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including macros and V-Lookups.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
Strong client service skills.
College degree in finance or business.
Understanding of trading systems and derivatives trading.
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and discipline.
Knowledge of Tableau and SQL.
Client Series 7 license.
