W3Global . A long-term, growing Certified Public Accounting firm located in southwestern Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin is seeking a qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA). The firm handles a wide variety of accounting services, specializing in tax returns (1040s and 1120s) and audits, while maintaining a positive and engaging work environment. This is a long-term position with strong potential for fast-tracking into partnership buy-in/equity opportunities within only a few years, offering a very rewarding earnings potential along with comprehensive fringe benefits. The ideal candidate will review and understand all accounting work and possess leadership skills to guide and manage a small team. After proper training, occasional travel within the tri-state area may be required (primarily for audits). Office Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (plus Saturday mornings during Tax Season: Jan.-Apr.)

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and review personal and business tax returns (knowledge of current federal and state tax laws and regulations required) Prepare and review monthly and quarterly bookkeeping Assist with and review audit engagements Provide QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) assistance to clients Multitask, prioritize, organize efficiently, and delegate work as needed Review client payrolls and other bookkeeping prepared by team members Maintain current licenses and required CPE credits Ensure confidentiality of client records Meet and build relationships with new and existing clients Perform other office duties as required
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with at least 2 years of related experience (required) OR CPA License (preferred) Proficiency with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks (required) Experience with accounting software (required) Advanced knowledge of audits (preferred)

Compensation
From $120,000.00 per year (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
