Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to oversee our financial processes within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of the management team, contributing to strategic direction while ensuring the integrity of financial operations. The successful candidate will manage a wide range of accounting functions, including audit, inventory management, tax filings, financial accounting, financial statements, and financial analysis.

Base pay Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Overseeing the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

Managing the organization's tax filings to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Overseeing the audit process, coordinating with internal and external auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.

Managing the inventory process, ensuring accurate and timely inventory counts and valuations.

Providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision making by the management team.

Developing and implementing effective accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

Supervising, mentoring, and developing the accounting team to ensure a high level of competency and engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.

Extensive knowledge of manufacturing accounting principles and procedures.

Proven experience in managing audit processes, tax filings, inventory management, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in using accounting software and other financial management tools.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.

Excellent leadership skills with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.

Outstanding communication skills; ability to explain complex financial information to a non-financial audience.

High level of integrity with the ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
