Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on, strategically minded Financial Projections Actuary to manage and streamline the actuarial component of financial projections & analysis (FP&A) deliverables at a fast-growing, technology-forward annuity company specializing in Multi-Year Guaranteed Annuities (MYGAs) and Fixed Index Annuities (FIAs). Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and take ownership of the quarterly financial projections process, including the design of reporting templates and detailed explanations of forecasts versus actuals. Manage documentation of FP&A scenarios, assumptions, and sensitivities. Perform single cell testing of projections, including re-calculations of CARVM reserves, asset valuations, and hedge valuations at future time steps. Coordinate with the modeling actuary and finance on sensitivities, assumption updates, and ad-hoc deliverables. Prepare presentations and explanations for the board, risk committee, and treasury on financial projection and liquidity stress testing results, including key drivers. Continuously analyze modeling system, tools, reporting templates, etc. for improvements and creatively develop streamlined solutions alongside the data and analytics team. Recommend relevant sensitivities and stress scenarios to the Appointed Actuary, Chief Actuary, and other senior leaders for consideration in subsequent FP&A cycles. Required Qualifications

ASA or recent FSA with 5+ years of actuarial experience in life/annuity insurance. Strong understanding of modeling techniques for projecting MYGA and FIA portfolios under a variety of economic scenarios. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; Experience with developing innovative solutions and communicating complex topics to a diverse audience. 2+ years of experience with basic programming languages and data analytical tools (e.g., Alteryx, R, Python, SQL, Visual Basic, or similar). Experience in a financial reporting role or similar, managing deliverables with tight timelines which impact financial statements or external disclosures. Working knowledge of US STAT, US GAAP, US Tax and Risk-Based Capital requirements for deferred annuity products (including C3 Phase I/II) and corresponding financial statement presentations. Comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial environment with cross-functional collaboration. Preferred Qualifications

Experience in PBR, Cash Flow Testing, or FP&A roles. Exposure to ALM, Asset Modeling, or Hedging. Experience translating modeled results into strategy discussions with senior finance leaders. Experience with SLOPE actuarial modeling and asset modeling software. Self-starter with strong business acumen and a desire to influence both sides of the balance sheet. Why Join Us?
