The incumbent is responsible for making and servicing a variety of loans for commercial customers, including but not limited to: secured and unsecured, capital, equipment, real estate, interim construction, personal, small business administration, and working capital loans. The role requires evaluating each loan for profitability and proper structuring to protect the Bank's interests, making decisions that merit serious consideration, as errors could be costly to the Bank. This position involves business development activities within the commercial market area and extensive customer contact. The incumbent should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and represent the Bank at various social functions. Essential Functions:
Make and service all types of Commercial and Real Estate loans, either personally or with other officers. Guide customers to meet their banking needs effectively. Promote the Bank’s services and profitability. Develop new business to increase loans and income continually. Participate actively in Customer Service First sales and service culture, support organizational values, and adhere to company policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in Ag Lending is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is advantageous. Six years of banking experience is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and related applications is necessary. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Professional demeanor, effective oral communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
