About This Job The main purpose of this job is to act as the office manager for the Naples, Florida Trust location and provide support to the assigned Private Banking team. Essential Functions Manage a portfolio of client relationships for 1-3 Private Bankers. Provide a superior client experience by completing tasks, resolving issues, and following up in a timely manner. Work closely with assigned Private Banker(s) to build a strong channel of communication. Prepare client presentations and participate in joint calls when necessary. Assist in processing loans and scheduling closings. Communicate directly with clients to complete service needs and document conversations in the CRM (Quest). Work with the Private Banker(s) to ensure CRM (Quest) records are kept up-to-date. Identify new clients and sales opportunities through client support and networking. Support other client associates by communicating effectively and providing coverage. Ensure financial transactions are completed accurately and efficiently while complying with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Knowledge of general banking services and products, with emphasis on lending and deposit products. Demonstrated customer contact and communication skills. Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet preparation required; familiarity with contact management software and database management helpful. Good organizational skills. Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail. Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal). Ability to remain adaptable and resilient in all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values. Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years retail or commercial banking experience preferred. Experience with Commerce internal systems preferred [Salesforce, Quest, Teller Connections, Shaw, Branch Connections, Encompass, Blend]. For this position, federal regulations require Commerce Bank to prepare an investigatory consumer report which will disclose credit history.
