detail-oriented and proactive Tax Accountant
to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in tax preparation and planning, enjoys solving complex problems, and values working in a supportive, people-first environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, etc.)
Assist with tax planning strategies for clients throughout the year
Conduct tax research and stay current on relevant tax law changes
Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial data and provide ongoing support
Support senior CPAs and partners with special projects and advisory engagements
Ensure compliance with deadlines and filing requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA or CPA-track preferred)
2+ years of relevant public accounting or tax experience
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes and regulations
Excellent communication, organizational, and client-service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
