The
Controller
will be responsible for ensuring a consistent and forward-looking corporate financial strategy. This includes managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing and analyzing financial statements, overseeing budgets and tax data, and serving as the primary point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities. The role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring someone who can establish processes, ensure compliance, and support the company’s ambitious growth. Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day company accounts, including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP. Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to guide executive decision-making. Lead cash flow management, budget forecasting, and financial planning activities. Ensure government and regulatory compliance across all financial operations. Serve as primary point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities. Implement and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures. Drive process improvements and efficiencies through Microsoft Dynamics and Excel reporting tools. Partner with executive leadership to support long-term growth strategy and capital planning. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred. 5–7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including at least 3 years in a Controller or leadership role. Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics (ERP) and advanced Excel. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to build and mentor a high-performing accounting team. Prior experience in a growth-oriented, mid- to large-scale company ($50M+ revenue) preferred. Prior experience working in the food manufacturing industry preferred. Why Join Us
