D365 SCM Technical Specialist
to join our IT team. The role supports an ERP transformation initiative and collaborates with Procurement, Supply Chain, and IT stakeholders to design and implement optimized purchasing and demand planning processes using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM). This position has a hybrid schedule, requiring at least 2 days in the office, and must be based in the Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas metro area. Location:
Dallas–Fort Worth, TX Responsibilities
Translate complex procurement and demand planning requirements into scalable, efficient, and compliant system configurations across D365 SCM modules (Procurement and Sourcing, Product Information Management, Vendor Collaboration, Demand Forecasting, Master Planning, Inventory Management). Collaborate with the ERP implementation team to ensure seamless integration of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Demand Planning with related end-to-end supply chain functions (O2C, Master Planning, Inventory Management). Drive collaboration with stakeholders to design configurations, customizations, extensions, and integrations within D365 Finance & Operations; translate business requirements into technical specifications. Engage with users to understand needs, recommend best practices, perform fit/gap analyses, design solutions, oversee end-user training, and deploy ERP solutions. Provide high-level support and troubleshooting for D365 F&O modules, addressing functionality, performance, and integration issues; apply strong analytical skills to resolve complex technical problems. Collaborate with developers and architects to design robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions following D365 best practices. Configure and customize D365 modules to meet business needs while adhering to performance standards; facilitate testing (unit and UAT) and document technical specifications and changes. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; 10+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination. Experience with multi-site warehouse operations, multi-entity supply chain models, and distribution networks; integration with procurement, transportation, and order fulfillment. Preferred certifications include: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate (MB-330) Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Warehouse Management Functional Consultant Expert Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate or related Power Platform certifications. 5+ years in supply chain, procurement, or demand planning roles; 3+ years configuring and supporting D365 SCM or similar ERP. Proficient in Procurement & Sourcing, Vendor Collaboration, Trade Agreements, Demand Forecasting, Master Planning, and related analytics; experience with Power BI and data migration. Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams and leadership; proven ability to manage ambiguity and drive results. Desirable Knowledge
