With a strong commitment to quality and innovation, the company offers an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to contribute to its financial excellence. This role is based in Cincinnati, Ohio, and involves working closely with corporate leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with U.S. GAAP standards.
Responsibilities
Support the integrity of recorded transactions and ensure compliance with GAAP in all financial reporting.
Manage compensation accounting, including wages, taxes, benefits, accruals, and reconciliations.
Prepare account reconciliations.
Coordinate month-end close activities and ensure adherence to strict deadlines.
Assist with intercompany accounting transactions and reconciliations.
Maintain the company’s fixed asset database from both book and tax perspectives.
Serve as a key contact between corporate accounting, operational teams, and external auditors.
Support process automation and standardization improvements.
Must-Have Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Manufacturing / Cost Accounting.
4+ years of experience in accounting roles with increasing responsibility.
Proficiency in payroll, benefits, and fixed asset accounting.
Strong experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards or Oracle.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Active CPA license and experience with publicly traded company financial statements.
