Position Summary Assists in planning and providing general direction to the conduct of the Permanent Fund Endowment which includes the care and custody of funds and other financial assets, money manager selection and evaluation through consistent communication and due diligence review. Assists in management of the Permanent Fund Endowment Asset Allocation in collaboration with the Tribe’s Chief Investment Officer (CIO), the Director of Investments, and the Investment Committee. This position is a grade E18; salary is $99,984.00/annually. Education and Experience Must have a BA/BS degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a closely related field. Must have 2 years of experience in investment research and analysis, investment management, investment banking, or closely related and relevant field. Must have experience in and command of the “vocabulary of investment” supported by a solid understanding of various investment principles, terms and quantitative measures. Must show demonstrated knowledge of traditional (equity and fixed income) and alternative investments (hedge funds, risk parity strategies, smart beta strategies and other illiquid investment opportunities). Must have experience developing and delivering effective written and oral presentations. Must have computer experience including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. Must have a valid Driver’s License for state of residency and be insurable under the Tribal vehicle insurance policy. Must pass a thorough criminal history background check and pre-employment drug test. Preferred Qualifications Experience either as a direct investor or in investment analysis for a public pension, foundation, endowment, family office, investment consultant, RIA, or corporate pension plan. Advanced degree in business, finance, accounting, CFA or CPA (or progress towards such) or another relevant subject. Experience in working with endowment spending policy or pension liability driven investing and knowledge of MSCI Caissa platform and Bipsync.
