About The Role You’ll help identify, underwrite, and monitor world-class investment managers across strategies, liquidity profiles, and structures—contributing from day one to the sourcing, diligence, and ongoing evaluation that power long-term results for Utah’s schools. For a highly qualified candidate, SITFO will consider hiring into a Senior Investment Analyst role which would include a higher salary range. What You’ll Do

Lead and support rigorous investment and operational due diligence on prospective and existing managers; prepare memos and recommendations. Perform fundamental and quantitative analyses to compare managers, track records, peer sets, and benchmarks; assist with reference and risk reviews. Engage actively in investment discussions and decision processes with SITFO leadership and advisors. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through research, peer feedback, and professional learning. What You’ll Bring

2–4 years of professional experience, ideally in manager research/selection or related buy-side roles. Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field. Strong analytical writing and communication; confidence operating both independently and within a tight, high-performing team. Curiosity, judgment, ethics, and alignment with SITFO’s mission and fiduciary responsibilities. Tools You'll Use
