$120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Our client, a dynamic and growing manufacturing company committed to delivering high-quality products and operational excellence, is seeking an Accounting Manager for a newly created role open due to promotion. Position Overview The Accounting Manager will oversee all aspects of accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep manufacturing experience and a strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial controls. The ideal candidate will bring at least 7 years of progressive accounting experience and a proven ability to lead and develop a team. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of 5 direct reports across general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures in compliance with GAAP Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to analyze manufacturing costs, inventory valuations, and production variances Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to senior leadership Manage audits and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring accounting staff Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills Understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills What We Offer Competitive compensation and benefits package Opportunity to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment Career growth within a stable and expanding organization Collaborative culture that values innovation and continuous improvement Seniority level
