This role is ideal for an emerging advisor seeking hands-on experience, professional growth within an active advisory practice, and the opportunity to create a lasting impact for clients. You’ll work closely with your team to help individuals and families navigate complex financial decisions and achieve long-term goals. As an Associate Wealth Advisor at Fairport, you’ll have an opportunity to collaborate closely with lead advisors to deliver white-glove service while building knowledge across the full spectrum of advisory work – from financial planning and client service to business development and growth. You will report to the Director of Wealth. #LI-Onsite What You’ll Do
Client Experience Support lead advisors in preparing for and conducting client meetings. Translate financial data into summaries, reports, and planning deliverables. Manage client follow-ups, paperwork, and action items with care and attention to detail. Respond to client requests with professionalism and urgency. Foster client retention and satisfaction through proactive engagement and personalized guidance. Financial Planning Work with your team to develop and implement holistic financial plans encompassing investment management, retirement, estate, insurance, and tax strategies. Collaborate with your advisory team to implement long-term investment strategies aligned with client objectives. Monitor and adjust financial plans based on evolving client needs, market conditions, and regulatory changes. Growth Participate in client meetings and discovery sessions. Support business development and referral efforts. Stay curious, stay coachable, and lean into challenges. Team Collaboration Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless client service and operational excellence. Contribute to process improvements. Support lead advisors and actively engage in client strategy development. What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field. 1-5 years of experience in the financial services industry in a client-facing advisory role. Series 65 On track to earn or already hold CFP designation (preferred). Proven ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships. A client-first mindset with a strong commitment to delivering white-glove service. Strong knowledge of investment management and financial planning concepts. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency in Salesforce, eMoney, and Black Diamond or similar CRM and planning tools. Growth mindset with a commitment to lifelong learning and collaboration. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively as part of a team. What We Offer
