The Associate, Investment Operations plays an essential role in providing the day-to-day operational support for the Investments portfolio. Assists with developing systems that support more efficient operations and assists with processing financial transactions. What You Will Do:

Assist with onboarding new reinsurance deals into the Investments Operational infrastructure by creating new portfolios, ensuring portfolio mapping is in place. Assist with onboarding of new asset managers. Prepare post trade compliance reports to ensure adherence to Reinsurance and Investment Manager guidelines. Provide Operational support for the Alternatives portfolio including creating new portfolios, monitoring of capital calls and distributions, executing cash wires, ensuring transaction capture in books and records. Support the derivative asset class through preparation of reconciliations and timely research/resolution of breaks. Support the Data Governance model by assisting in implementation of key Investment data fields. Assist in the integration of data from new asset classes or managers into Fortitude’s investments data architecture. Data Stewardship Review daily data quality checks within Datalake. Research and resolve data issues Liaise with appropriate parties to resolve data issues. Assist in development of automated reports and dashboards to facilitate the management of the investment portfolio and the sharing of information with key stakeholders. Perform reconciliation of open receivables and payables related to investment activity and of unapplied/misapplied cash by working across internal/external systems/business partners to resolve discrepancies. Proactively track unresolved items, escalating where appropriate and maintaining detailed records of communication and actions taken. Address ad-hoc inquiries relating to data, investment activities, etc. What You Will Have:

Bachelor’s degree. 2 years of investment, accounting and/or data analysis experience. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments. Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and critical thinking skills. Technical expertise with Microsoft Office projects, SQL, Python and other coding languages. The base salary range for this role is listed below and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.
