This role is ideal for a professional looking to build on their experience in federal and state tax compliance while expanding their advisory and leadership skills. The Tax Senior will work closely with clients across a range of industries, including real estate, manufacturing, and professional services. Location: Rhode Island (onsite/hybrid arrangements as applicable). Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr.

Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
Conduct tax research and provide clients with practical tax planning strategies
Assist with tax audits and correspondence with federal and state tax authorities
Supervise and mentor junior team members; provide feedback and technical training
Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and timely service delivery
Collaborate with managers and partners on tax engagements and planning opportunities
Stay current on changes in tax law and industry developments
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s in Taxation preferred
CPA license or in active pursuit of licensure
3–5 years of relevant experience in public accounting with a focus on tax
Proficiency with tax preparation and research software (e.g., CCH Axcess, BNA, or similar)
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
