Overview
Client Accountant at Cushman & Wakefield. Responsible for cash and accrual management, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting under limited supervision to deliver high-quality, accurate work. Responsibilities
Perform full cycle accounting including analysis of accounts and transactions; manage cash, AP, AR, accruals and reconciliations; maintain organization of a high-volume workload for multiple clients. Prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages timely and accurately in accordance with internal controls and client requirements. Apply procedures for preparation of accounting records, research of transactions, and reporting. Prepare and review fixed asset ledgers, ensure capitalization and depreciation per owner requirements; calculate and record straight-line rent per client preferences. Apply company financial policies and procedures; bring inconsistencies and problems to management’s attention. Research, analyze, and communicate basic accounting issues; escalate appropriately; communicate and collaborate with clients and property management in a timely manner. Comply with internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and information. Perform other related duties as required or requested. Education/Experience/Training
College degree in Finance or Accounting preferred. Work Experience
Requires some experience, but less than one year or equivalent combination of education and experience. Specialized Knowledge/Skills – Prior experience with accounting or database software is preferred; basic knowledge of commercial real estate; proficient in MS Office. Competencies

The compensation for the position is: $60,000 to $63,000.
