Senior Audit Accountant, Financial Services

The role requires a hybrid work arrangement, with regular presence in a Wipfli office, at home, and at client sites. Scheduled meetings at the client and in the office will require in-person attendance. Responsibilities
Audit financial statements, quarterly financial information, and clients\' annual reports. Take part in pre-audit planning to assess the risk of material misstatement of financial accounts and design effective audit procedures. Identify accounting and audit issues and perform research to solve issues. Test internal controls, policies, and procedures and make recommendations. Perform audits under GAAS, GAAP, PCAOB, AICPA auditing standards, and SOX. Proactively build relationships and communicate with clients and colleagues. Teach, train, and develop incoming staff and interns. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; must meet educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam. CPA certification preferred. Candidates actively pursuing CPA certification will be considered. 1–3 years of accounting-related experience. Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively on multiple tasks. Adaptable to various levels of client complexities of people, processes, and systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to travel to client sites up to 50%. Compensation, Benefits, and Other Details
Salary range: $74,000 to $111,000. Individual offers depend on location, skills, experience, licensure, and other factors. Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
