We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant ready to take on greater responsibility and grow into a management track. In this role, you will work directly with partners and supervisors on complex tax, audit, and consulting engagements, advise clients on corporate and federal tax issues, and support strategic business decisions. You’ll also review financial statements, lead portions of audit procedures, and mentor junior team members. Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts. Provide high level tax advice for a corporate and high net worth client base including researching complex tax issues. Identify and cultivate practice development opportunities in the tax practice area. Stay informed of tax developments and potential impact to the client. Develop and maintain productive relationships with client contacts throughout the year. Assist with development of practice by maintaining positive relationships with key business contacts and client management, involvement in outside activities, and by actively developing new contacts. Assist in developing and maintaining a quality tax practice through managing, mentoring, and training tax department staff. Qualifications
3-9 years of public tax experience CPA certified or the eligibility to work toward obtaining a CPA license. Bachelor’s degree in accounting Required Skills
Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Ability to function in a team environment and to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency with relevant tax software. Pay range and compensation package
