VV&A CTM Analyst

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an analyst to support verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A) activities associated with Missile Defense System (MDS) modeling and simulation (M&S) using data analysis tools or code. Responsibilities include: Perform VV&A analysis on physics-based Core Truth Models (CTM) and generate reports on findings Develop data analysis code to assess HWIL/Digital Models against their requirements and determine their suitability for stated intended uses in MDS simulations Research technical papers on models and identify data pertinent to model VV&A Establish VV&A evidence by comparing modeled data to referent data for various MDS sensors, threats, or interceptors Serve as primary point of contact and product integrator for a team effort: prepare and present VV&A evidence plans, products, and reports Collaborate with counterparts from other stakeholder agencies to establish adequate V&V evidence and correct modeling issues Requirements: BS/MS in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science discipline and 3+ years of experience Active Secret Clearance Experience coding in at least one programming language (Python preferred) Understanding of radar principles/models is a plus Knowledge of hypersonic and/or cruise missile behavior/performance is a plus Working knowledge of Linux operating systems is a plus Some knowledge of verification and validation (V&V) processes Must possess a Secret level security clearance (or higher) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while reporting results as part of a team MTSI offers a range of benefits, including: 20 days of PTO and 10 Holidays per Year Zero Deductible Health Plans Flex Schedules Up to $10,000 Annual Education/Training Reimbursement Funded Stock Ownership Plan 6% 401k Match + Immediate Vesting Semi-Annual Bonus Opportunity Career Mentorship Programs MTSI is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
