Annual Bonus A leading global real estate investment manager with over $75 billion in assets under management is seeking a talented Associate to join its investment team in New York. This unique opportunity blends acquisitions (~75%) and asset management (~25%), providing the right candidate with broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle and all major property types — including office, industrial, multifamily, retail, life sciences, and specialty sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a passion for real estate investing, and experience working on transactions and asset-level business plans. This is a highly visible role with meaningful responsibility and direct exposure to senior leadership. Key Responsibilities Acquisitions (~75%) Support the end-to-end transaction process — including sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, structuring, and closing real estate investments. Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses to evaluate potential acquisitions across multiple property types. Assist in preparing investment committee materials, including presentations, deal memos, and market research. Partner with senior team members, brokers, lenders, and JV partners to analyze opportunities and negotiate deal terms. Monitor market fundamentals, asset performance trends, and competitive dynamics to inform investment strategies. Asset Management (~25%) Support ongoing valuation modeling, asset performance analysis, and strategic planning for existing portfolio investments. Assist with capital expenditure planning, redevelopment projects, and repositioning initiatives. Work with property managers and operating partners to drive operational performance and maximize asset value. Contribute to strategic business plans and support execution of asset-level initiatives. Qualifications 2–6 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, asset management, investment banking, or related fields. Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills in Excel; experience underwriting commercial real estate investments preferred. Strong understanding of core real estate asset classes and market dynamics. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and interface with senior stakeholders. Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and execution-focused, with a strong work ethic and passion for real estate investing. Base Base: $95k - 125k Bonus: 30% - 40% Seniority level
