The role is a hybrid opportunity and requires the candidate to be commutable to one of our facilities nationwide. Responsibilities

Analyze billing practices, denial reasons, and payer reimbursement to identify and share payment-related issues prior to negotiations. Review volumes, trends, average length of stay, current reimbursement vs. established rates, DSO, and other payer measures to ensure payment aligns with the agreement. Forecast budget impact related to changes in rates and create/publish predictive models to support rate negotiations and revenue planning. Interpret payment and denial data at the line-item level; identify payer and coding trends, risks, and provide key recommendations and impacts of the health plan negotiation process. Support the patient accounts team by understanding front-end claim errors/failures and developing corrective action plans (edits, workflows) to reduce recurrence. Maintain thorough knowledge of payer policies, subscriber benefits, non-covered services, coding and diagnosis issues, and accounts receivable. Compile, analyze, and report on data related to underpayments, denials, revenue opportunities, and leakage. Coordinate with leadership to communicate plans and improve processes. Conduct detailed analyses of data related to A/R trends and reimbursement; summarize findings into graphs, charts, summaries, and presentations for leadership review. Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or Associate’s degree plus 4 years of directly related work experience Minimum 4 years of experience in the healthcare industry Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Cerner and/or Fin Thrive Knowledge of revenue analytics, contract analytics, and payment modeling Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new healthcare technology systems, processes, and procedures to provide quality analysis Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or analytics Experience in a hospital or behavioral health business office dealing with patient billing or patient accounting Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Adobe Experience presenting complex models to executive leaders Benefits
