Employer Industry: Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management Why consider this job opportunity: Competitive total rewards package (base salary + bonus) Customizable benefits package with multiple medical plans and Health Savings Account company match Generous paid time off starting at 3 weeks + 13 paid holidays, including personal floating holidays Paid parental leave, including maternity and paternity leave Opportunities for education assistance and free LinkedIn Learning access Supportive work environment with a focus on diversity and inclusion What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Achieve and maintain assigned client financial performance goals Validate code and DRG assignment and supporting clinical documentation based on physician documentation and official coding guidelines Assist in prediction enhancements to increase verification rates Conduct financial analysis reviews using Excel Provide outstanding customer service while working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment What is Required (Qualifications): Minimum of 3 years of inpatient auditing/coding experience with ICD and CPT/HCPCS In-depth knowledge of hospital inpatient record types, clinical documentation, and payer reimbursement methodology Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and computerized programs Strong analytical and research skills Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate independent judgment How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Experience working within a hospital environment Experience in MS-DRG validation, APR-DRG validation, and clinical validation Knowledge related to PSI, HAC, and other quality metrics Relevant coding/clinical certifications such as CCS, CIC, RHIT, RHIA, CDIP, or CCDS We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
