Position Profile Weaver’s State and Local Tax team seeks Income & Franchise Tax Senior Associates or Supervisors. This role involves providing tax compliance and consulting services related to state and local taxes, including income and franchise taxes. Responsibilities include working on various tax returns, complex audits, and tax research projects across diverse industries. Ideal candidates are team players with initiative, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills CPA candidate or pursuing the CMI 2+ years of experience in public accounting or industry Experience preparing income & franchise tax returns, audits, and refund schedules, including multi-state and Texas Franchise Tax returns Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Accounting or related field Strong project management skills CPA or CMI certification Benefits:
