Base pay range
$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr A Financial Services firm is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as a Fund Accountant in their New Jersey office. This role will follow a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities: Review daily and monthly estimated and final fund Net Asset Values (NAVs). Prepare and review capital call and distribution allocations. Support the tracking of investment costs and ongoing monitoring of investment fair values. Manage and oversee the quarterly NAV and portfolio reconciliation process, including investigating and resolving discrepancies with internal operations teams. Calculate management fees, distributions, waterfall allocations, and internal rate of return (IRR). Prepare and review fund forecasts, performance estimates, attribution analysis, and various ad hoc reports and projects. Assist in the review of investor statements and internal reporting materials. Coordinate with external auditors to support the year-end audit process. Oversee and review deliverables prepared by offshore teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Perform other duties, as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting or Finance Minimum of 3 years of experience in fund accounting, audit, or fund administration; experience in public or private accounting also acceptable Background in private equity, hedge funds, or audit strongly preferred Familiarity with SEC and other regulatory filing requirements for investment funds is a plus Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical, technical, and written/verbal communication skills Reference # 60695 Seniority level
