Function The Ategrity Property function offers insurance solutions to the E&S commercial property market through our exclusive wholesale broker network. The team delivers thoughtfully curated coverage and competitive pricing backed by decades of underwriting experience and advanced data and analytics, with service from the first underwriting review through the life of the policy. Role
The role is for a production underwriter within the Deductible Buydown underwriting team within Brokerage Property. This role will be responsible for growing a profitable deductible buydown insurance portfolio with a focus on select risk types. Success in the role will require interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and good technical capabilities. The role will report to a Senior Underwriter. Responsibilities
Underwrite new and renewal accounts based on underwriting guidelines and authority granted Provide excellent service to our broker partners Manage production to achieve premium goals Effectively communicate information to both internal and external customers to ensure our standards of excellence are maintained Develop, market and maintain and enhance existing broker relationships Initially remote, this position will move to a hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week Qualifications/Requirements
3 years preferred underwriting or compliance experience in P&C Insurance, preferably for an E&S carrier Demonstrated knowledge of commercial property underwriting, risk and agency management Strong interpersonal and team building skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain strong internal and external business relationships Well organized with attention to detail B.A./B.S degree from an accredited College or University Competitive salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match Paid time off and company holidays Collaborative and inclusive work environment with opportunities for career growth and advancement Equal Opportunity Statement:
