Responsibilities
Reporting to the VP, Transaction Management, this position is responsible for managing and reconciling complex mortgage cash flows throughout the full asset lifecycle, from investor purchase through servicing transfers, ensuring accurate accounting of principal, interest, advances, and fees in accordance with investor agreements and regulatory standards. This position supports the onboarding of new investments, monitors servicing activity, and ensures timely remittance to investors. This role also contributes to financial reporting, audit support, and asset performance analysis. Additionally, this position collaborates closely with Servicing, Investor Relations, Treasury, and Information Technology teams to resolve discrepancies, streamline processes, and enhance data transparency. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent professional certification, preferred 3+ years’ experience in investor accounting, mortgage servicing, or investment operations Strong understanding of mortgage cash flows, servicing transfers, and investor reporting Prior experience with Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS), whole loan investment, or structured finance Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory reporting requirements Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment Proficiency in accounting systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Black Knight, MS Excel, SQL) preferred Strong skills and experience in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams Strong analytical skills Solid decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and manage shifting priorities Client-focused with strong execution skills and results orientation High level of precision with attention to detail and consistency Flexible, open to change, and able to learn new things quickly Ability to work in a collaborative environment and provide guidance for working groups Submit Your Resume to Learn More
