Senior Accountant
to work out of their office in Delray Beach, FL. Salary/Hourly Rate:
$65k - $75k Position Overview
The Senior Accountant would be responsible for managing the accounting department. This role also serves as a point of contact for managers within the organization, analyzes budget information, and works with managers to create strategies that align with the company vision. Responsibilities
Perform bank and account reconciliations & analysis. Prepare month-end close and financial statement preparation. Prepare and post journal entries to the General Ledger as needed. Audit the AR and AP department. Have the ability to explain financial statements to accounting and non-accounting personnel. Manage the accounting department, including training, development, hiring, and performance management. Required Experience/Skills
Must have experience managing direct reports. Minimum of 2+ years of people management experience. Minimum of 3+ years of full cycle accounting experience. Minimum of 3+ years of financial statement preparation experience. Experience with accrual accounting. Preferred Experience/Skills
Minimum of 3+ years of managing an accounting team of 3 or more team members. Minimum of 5+ years of accounting in property management, food and beverage, or hospitality industry. Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. Benefits
