An Orlando-based company is seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to handle general ledger tasks along with additional projects as requested by the Controller. This role requires a keen understanding of commercial invoice additions and the cost of rentals, accessories, and goods sold.
Responsibilities
Perform journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for fixed assets, prepaid fixed assets, and clearing accounts. Manage asset transfers and intercompany accounting. Engage in fixed assets management and reconciliations. Ensure accurate and timely completion of general ledger work.
Essential Skills
General Ledger experience is required. Experience with one of the following: Fixed Assets, Intercompany, or Reconciliations. Proficiency in journal entry, reconciliation, month-end processes, and audit.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 2-3 years of relevant experience. Audit experience is advantageous. Proficiency in SAGE (ERP) systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Self-motivated and critical thinker. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Work Environment
This role offers a flexible work environment with a 4-day in-office and 1-day remote hybrid schedule. Remote days are flexible, fostering a no-drama, casual atmosphere. The office setting is a cubicle layout, and Fridays are designated for work-from-home.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $33.65/hr.
