The Finance Organization at Verizon is building a world-class Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. We are streamlining processes, improving systems, realigning the organization, and fostering professional growth. We aim to add value and provide strategic support, developing leading FP&A practices. You will help tell the story behind the numbers, drive better business partnering, and contribute to initiatives like pricing and new product development. You’ll impact business growth through developing business case scenarios. Responsibilities include: Preparing executive-level presentations for Verizon Global Services, including Group Review, SLT, SteerCo, and SER. Managing the Verizon Global Services Transformation portfolio. Building partnerships with the Transformation Office and Finance teams to link results with future planning. Developing and communicating planning, forecasting, and financial reporting for various business reviews. Analyzing business results and providing strategic insights. Serving as a Subject Matter Expert on performance issues and defining action plans. Making decisions to ensure quality and timely delivery of services. Evaluating business trends, budget variances, and KPIs to identify risks and opportunities. Partnering on costing/profitability models and reporting. Assessing strategic financial impacts and presenting recommendations. Designing strategies for process improvements. Driving profit optimization and developing business cases for pricing and investments. Assessing capital needs and planning. Communicating with all levels of the business. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Six+ years of relevant experience, including project management. Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suites. Preferred: Master’s in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics. Experience in technology or telecommunications industry. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus. Strong analytical and strategic skills. Deep understanding of financial planning, reporting, and analysis methodologies. Knowledge of FASB, SEC, GAAP, and IFRS standards. Experience with Essbase, Smart View, Hyperion Planning, and Hyperion Strategic Finance. Leadership experience in managing large projects and teams. In this hybrid role, you'll work both remotely and in-office, with at least eight office days per month. Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Verizon is an equal opportunity employer.
