Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Staff Accountant
with 10+ years of individual and corporate tax preparation and review experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, a problem solver, analytical, and can work independently meeting deadlines while also being a team player. Key Responsibilities
Prepare individual and business (corporate, partnership) tax returns. Review other preparers individual and business tax returns ensuring accuracy and completeness while making recommendations for any discrepancies. Respond timely and professionally to clients. Maintain up to date status codes in Ultra Tax CS and input daily all billable and non-billable time in Practice CS. Have a strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA or EA designation is preferred but not required). 5+ years of professional accounting experience. Strong experience in preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns is required. Trust return experience is a plus. Proficiency in Thomson Reuters UltraTax CS and Practice CS is required. Working knowledge of GAAP, federal and state tax regulations. Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Outlook. Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple client engagements with minimal supervision. What We Offer
