$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Advice Personnel Senior Corporate & Treasury Accountant (Central New Jersey) A privately held, vertically integrated commercial real estate firm with a regional focus is seeking a Senior Corporate/ Property Accountant to join their Central NJ team. This is a highly visible position that will work closely with various department heads and upper management. Offering a growth track, collaborative team environment, great benefits and a good work life balance. Accounting Responsibilities: Assist with the oversight of day-to-day operations of the corporate and property accounting functions. in a manner which promotes teamwork and encourages continuous improvement. Supervise Accounts Payable, Receivable and Lease Administration teams. Partner with department heads to ensure cost remain in budget while maintaining accurate forecasting. Oversight of the month and year end close process including corporate allocations, financial statement preparation, accruals, review journal entries and work papers. Assist in FP&A reporting which includes compiling multiple data sources to create reports and metrics for upper management. Ability to use advanced excel formulas to prepare the corporate budget, analyze reforecast, and evaluate current/subsequent years net income. Reconcile intercompany balances between corporate and operating entities. Maintain internal controls and oversee financial and tax audits. Conduct account reconciliation and analyses and report findings to leadership. Be comfortable implementing ground-up workpapers and other processes. Treasury Responsibilities: Report cash position and revenue to executive management on a weekly basis. Perform day-to-day cash management of multiple bank accounts. Review, prepare, and execute complex asset transfers. Ensure timely completion of bank account reconciliations, follow up on client requests, verify that all daily transactions are executed. Perform daily review of bank account balances, and identify cash funding required, or excess cash available for short-term investment. Required Qualifications: BA in Accounting / Finance or relevant discipline. 5+ years of experience in accounting. Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment. Be able to multi-task and be a team player. Compensation:
$100,000 - $120,000 plus bonus, 401k match, profit sharing, comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental and vision), PTO, and other valuable perks. The above salary range represents Advice's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is not reflective of the total compensation package, which may also include benefits, equity and other non-cash incentives.
