Senior Accounting Manager – Midtown, Manhattan - Onsite - Up to $170K base salary
A leading provider in the heating and cooling space is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead financial reporting and GAAP compliance across two growing U.S. and Canadian operations. This role offers significant exposure to executive leadership and the chance to drive financial process improvements within a dynamic, software-integrated environment. This opportunity is onsite 5 days a week and offers up to $170,000 on a base and excellent benefits.
Responsibilities:
Oversee financial reporting and monthly/annual close for multiple ledgers Prepare GAAP-compliant consolidated financials Manage payroll, sales tax filings, and external financial reviews Lead process improvements and internal control documentation Assist with budget forecasting and cash flow projections
Qualifications:
8+ years of accounting experience, including leadership experience Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including contract billing Background in project-based industries is a plus Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems. Salesforce is a plus Experience in international finance and inventory management preferred CPA or Master's in Accounting is a plus
