Associate Property (CAT/Hurricane) Underwriter
to join our growing team in
Boulder, CO . This position will work alongside the Underwriters to collect information and analyze risk factors to determine whether clients qualify for insurance. How You Will Contribute
Adheres to the Bridge Specialty Group service standards. Understands carrier guidelines including systems processes related to underwriter duties. Completes quotes, binders, and endorsements for Underwriters to review and sign off. Communicates with brokers on status of quotes and other issues of concern. Develops and promotes broker/agent relationships to help reach production goals. Requests and obtains renewal information as needed. Processes binders, assigns policy numbers, and orders loss control where applicable. Coordinates workflow between Underwriter and Associate Underwriter. May underwrite and price accounts per specific carrier guidelines. May issue quotes and binders documenting insurance coverages. Other duties as assigned. Licenses And Certifications
Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). (preferred) Skills & Experience To Be Successful
Bachelor's degree and one to three years related experience in the insurance industry and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, policy and accounting systems, and vendor specific computer programs. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Pay Range
