What We Are Hungry For We are seeking a

Real Estate Manager

who will serve as the Paris Baguette Real Estate expert. This individual will coordinate and manage all phases and functions of Real Estate; new café site acquisition, including real estate administration. The Real Estate Manager will act as the spokesperson for the company in communications with brokers and landlords and perform and execute all assigned projects and tasks.

Responsibilities

Tracks and reports on market progress from initial strategy through full development

Collaborates with broker network to present new café site recommendation packages for approval

Negotiates lease and purchase contracts for the acquisition of approved sites in partnership with Legal Team

Maintains schedule and project management for critical deadlines within the development period for contracts in partnership with stakeholders

Determines site feasibility and develops pro-forma budgets with Accounting to meet contract-related monetary obligations

Coordinates, manages and communicates new café development schedule and critical dates

Prepares agendas and reports on real estate issues for weekly meetings and manages related administrative duties

Maintains documentation and legal instruments; coordinates real estate legal documentation with legal counsel

Coordinates terms and timing to ensure targeted opening of a café, transfer to Franchise, or closing of an existing café

Provides information and documentation to Attorneys, Engineers, and Brokers regarding licensing or leasing

Other duties may be assigned

What You Need To Have

Franchise experience, specifically working with franchisees to find sites through local brokers

At least 1-2 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate

Knowledge of geo-demographic and GIS platforms

Knowledge of site development, real estate trends, and practices

Experience with prototypical restaurant development

Microsoft Office Proficiency: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Flexible, adaptive, upbeat, open and visible work style with a track record of supporting operations leaders across a large geographically decentralized portfolio

Passion for people; dynamic and engaged leader who empowers and develops team members and franchisee relationships

Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Ability to provide constructive feedback and recognition to team members and Franchisees
