The
Business Financial Manager (BFM) Analyst
will provide financial management and program support to the Program Manager, Air (PMA)-207. The candidate will assist in the planning, execution, reconciliation, and reporting of program funds to ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Navy, and NAVAIR financial policies. This position requires working closely with program leadership, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and supporting staff to align financial resources with program objectives. Duties Support formulation, justification, and execution of program budgets across multiple appropriations (e.g., RDT&E, APN, OMN, FMS). Track and reconcile commitments, obligations, and expenditures to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Assist with preparation of budget exhibits, financial reports, and responses to budget drills. Enter and analyze financial data using Navy financial systems (e.g., Navy ERP, SABRS, PR Builder, PBIS, CCaRS). Draft and process funding documents (MIPRs, Purchase Requests, Funding Authorization Documents, etc.). Participate in Program Objective Memorandum (POM) planning and assist with identifying financial impacts of program decisions. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to Government BFM staff and PMA-207 leadership. Ensure compliance with fiscal law, DoD 7000.14-R, SECNAV, and NAVAIR financial regulations. Required Experience 3-10 years of DoD or Navy financial management experience supporting acquisition or program offices. Working knowledge of Navy financial management systems and processes (Navy ERP strongly preferred). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment. Required Education Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Allowable Substitution Associate’s Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for an Associate’s Degree. Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree. The salary range for this position is $44,824.00-$112,478.47 (annualized USD).
