Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven
Senior MES Analyst
to oversee global roll out of enterprise MES system. The Senior Analyst will play a critical role in driving adoption and implementation of MES Global Platform (MGP) for Avient. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams within IT, implementation partner and business manufacturing teams to lead the implementation of AVEVA MES solutions that will enable operational excellence to existing manufacturing processes. Responsibilities
Lead the IT team in design, deployment and maintenance of MES Aveva system solutions. Lead MES rollout project by working with key business leaders in manufacturing and expert third party partners in developing & executing project plans, managing issues and resolutions & coordinating work across project team members and teams. Collaborate with Avient PMO and partner project manager to track and report on project progress. Develop, maintain and track project budget and financials. Collaborate with ERP and integration teams to build a robust MES integration platform. Partner across IT to maintain, patch and upgrade production MES landscape(s). Maintain relevant technical documentation to ensure streamlines support and knowledge transfer within areas of responsibility. Evaluate and recommend new technologies that can improve manufacturing efficiencies, reduce costs and support future growth. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering or related field. 5+ years of experience in implementing AVEVA MES Software and tools. Familiarity with programming languages like SQL to develop custom solutions. Deep understanding of database structure and use of SQL to manage MES data. Proficiency in developing HMI applications using AVEVA InTouch. Proficiency in integrating MES with other OT systems like SCADA and PLCs. Ability to identify, analyze and resolve issues related to MES system and manufacturing processes. Understanding manufacturing processes, industry regulations and supply chain impacts so effective MES solutions are built. Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies for effective management of projects. Knowledge of IT security best practices, disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Experience in working with SAP is a plus. Experience in working with chemical global manufacturing company(s) is a plus. Experience in a cloud-based MES solution is a plus.
